Prana is a Sanskrit word and means life-force. Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui, a Vietnamese national with Chinese origins, developed Pranic Healing in the 1960s. Pranic Healing is non-touch technique which harmonises, balances and transforms the body’s energy system. It is applied on the human aura which is part of the bio-electromagnetic field that surrounds the human physical body. The aura is the energy body which contains energy centres called chakras of which 12 of them have main functions. Pranic Healing works directly with these 12 main chakras. They are located on different parts on the body from top to the base of your spine. The aura absorbs energy and sends it through the physical body via the meridians, the energy vessels of the body, to the organs, glands, muscles etc. The reason why Pranic Healing treats the energy body is due to physical ailments appearing first as energetic blockages in the aura before manifesting as diseases in the physical body. As the body possesses self-healing abilities Pranic Healing is based on the principle that the healing process is accelerated by cleaning, un-blocking and aligning any energy flow on the respective part of the physical body. During a session the practitioner cleans and energises your chakras as well as aligns your whole energy body with energy flowing through her hands. All what you have to do is lean back, relax and enjoy. Simple yet very powerful Pranic Healing follows strict protocols for the treatment of various acute and chronic diseases and does not replace a medical treatment.
