This Mental Health Awareness Course
This course will provides participants with a broad understanding of mental health.

What to expect from this course:

You will learn about the factors that affect mental health,  as well as introduced to the more prevalent mental disorders and accompanying signs and symptoms, the influence of stigma and discrimination, guidance on supporting people in distress and advice on honing personal resilience.

This course is suitable for individuals as well as for the workplace, where it is a growing concern and the spotlight is on employers to evaluate the need, and provide adequate provision, for the mental wellbeing of their staff.

This may include training staff in the awareness of mental health issues, and how to recognize signs and symptoms and provide support to someone who may be experiencing mental health issues.

Certification: Participants receive an international certification from EFR (valid for 2 years) and a wall certificate.

Language of instruction: English/Arabic

This course is open to any person over the age of 16. If young people below the age of 18 parental consent is required.

About the Trainer:

Youmna Khalil is an internationally certified CPR, First Aid and AED instructor trainer for both adults and children (Emergency First Response). Her portfolio includes several international corporations, multinationals, companies and nonprofit organizations from a variety of sectors – which were taught in English and/or Arabic.

In the past years, Youmna was successful in spreading general first aid knowledge to over 17000 people – around 500 became internationally certified first responders.
