What is the Mindfulness Meditation Program?
Mindfulness is firstly about awareness and the ability to live in the present moment. Mindfulness training helps us become aware of our thoughts and feelings so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, we’re better able to manage them. There is scientific evidence that mindfulness can help to avoid depression, as well as reduce anxiety, stress, and panic symptoms. It can also promote wellbeing and resilience.

Our Methodology:
The main purpose of these sessions is to teach you to learn the theory of mindfulness and practice mindfulness meditation in a one-on-one setting. Each weekly session provides an opportunity for further practice and learning.
The practice in each session involves sitting, as well as occasional standing and gentle movement. One of the sessions will involve some basic beginner mindful yoga for the awareness of the body. Nothing vigorous is involved. Please, only do what is safe and suitable for you, based upon your state of health.
